The Terminator is a 1984 live-action sci-fi action film that needs no introduction as it's an 80's pop culture staple. I'd never seen it before until now and I'm glad to say it holds up. It's a film that thoroughly understands tension, enough so that I consider it a thriller, especially when I consider some of the moments at the end of the movie. I guess this specific sci-fi premise doesn't feel as novel as it would have in the past, but hey, the moment to moment enjoyability of watching The Terminator still shines as bright as ever.

Great for a movie night with dad.
